The Hillman Community Center - Perfect for Any Event

If there is a special occasion in your future, the friendly staff at the Hillman Community Center will be ready to serve you and your guests. When you are planning a big event, consider us for your rental needs.

We have facility amenities to meet your needs. From our conference hall/multi-purpose room that accommodates up to 500 people and includes a spacious, on-site full-service kitchen, to our built in sound system and attractive lighting. We also have two concession areas with automated beverage dispensing systems, a stage area complete with lighting and dressing rooms, as well as a smaller conference room that will accommodate up to 50 people. Wireless internet, video conferencing and air conditioning are also available.

Facilities

Featuring a 7,300 square foot conference hall / multi-purpose room, the center can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 500 people with ample on-site parking.

The hall's built in sound system and attractive lighting will enhance receptions, dances, fundraisers, meetings and trade shows.

The stage area is complete with curtains, lighting, and has dressing rooms backstage. A large access door accommodates props, large displays and other large equipment.

The facility has wireless internet available for use, which allows for video conferences and virtual weddings. You must provide your own equipment.

There is also a smaller conference room which is ideal for groups of 10 to 50.

Full-Service Kitchen

The large, full-service kitchen comes equipped and ready for use. Modern tables and chairs offer quality and comfort for your guests.

In addition, two concession areas offer a professional beverage service and automated beverage dispensing system.

Directions

To get to the Hillman Community Center from lower Michigan, take I-75 north to the Rose City exit (202). Keep going north on M-33 until it dead ends. Turn right on M-32 and travel east 10 miles. Turn left into Hillman 1/2 mile, turn right at the blinking light onto Veterans Memorial Hwy. The Community Center will be on your left about 1/4 mile down.

If you are traveling from Gaylord, take M-32 straight east, through Atlanta. Hillman is 17 miles from there.

From the U.P., take I-75 south to the Indian River exit. Go east to Onaway, then south on M-33 for 30 miles. Turn east on Co. Rd. 624 for 11 miles. Turn south (right) onto Co. Rd. 651 then right on Main St. Turn left at the blinking light for 1/4 mile. You've arrived at Hillman Community Center.
